Mathies wins ACS award

College of Chemistry Dean Richard Mathies has won the Award in Chemical Instrumentation of the American Chemical Society’s Division of Analytical Chemistry.

Mathies will give a talk at the award presentation on “High-performance microfluidic chemical and biochemical analysis systems” on August 23 at the annual ACS meeting in Boston, MA.

The Award in Chemical Instrumentation is given for advancing the field of chemical instrumentation, demonstrating innovative use, stimulating other researchers and authoring influential research papers or books on chemical instrumentation.
